Start with an empty card, then stack the blocks you need — like a mini forum post. Each block carries only its own options, so nothing is cluttered.
Inline editing — no pop-ups.
Pick a widget in the panel and edit it right there: add blocks, reorder, set status, priority and dates. The desktop stays for using — tick checklist items and switch a task's status directly on the wallpaper. Moving and resizing happen in the Desktop editor, so nothing shifts by accident.

Main is your main layout. A Side screen gets its own tables and its own background. Off leaves the screen to Windows (or Wallpaper Engine).
Your main layout belongs to the monitor it was made for. Switch that monitor off and nothing gets squeezed onto the smaller screen — the layout simply waits, and comes back the moment the monitor does.

Open Desktop in the Control Panel to see each screen with your real wallpaper, tables and programs. Drag to move, pull a handle to resize — tables snap to the grid, to the screen's edges and centre, and to each other, with pink guides showing the line.
Pick several to align them, give them equal gaps or the same size, type exact X Y W H values, nudge with the arrow keys, and undo with Ctrl+Z. Pop it out into its own big window when you want room.
